 Jaide Carter - Award Winning Nature Artist

I have a foundation degree in Art History & have always felt connected with the natural world. I started working as a nature artist in 2017 & over the years I have created many botanical art and jewellery pieces for weddings, funerals & Christenings. I have also undertaken commissions internationally, producing botanical jewellery, art & decor items for clients in Australia, Europe, USA, Japan, New Zealand & Israel as well as all over the UK & Ireland.

I have exhibited regularly at The National Trust's flagship property Blickling Hall here in Norfolk and at many other events throughout the UK.

I design & craft all of the frames, casts & jewellery in my North Norfolk studio and the majority of flowers used in my art are grown in the gardens on site or in my home garden.

In 2024 I was awarded 1st place in the floral art competition at The National Flower Show in the UK with a display titled 'Arrietty's Garden'

I am based at the beautiful Alby Crafts & Gardens in Erpingham North Norfolk where I have a working studio in an old converted brick & flint barn, set in a beautiful 4 acre garden.

I truly love creating these unique keepsakes.  I hope that you treasure & enjoy them as much as I enjoy crafting them.

Ethics & Environmental Policy

Working with nature is the soul of my business & I feel very strongly about protecting our environment.

I use green energy in my studio, grow my own flowers & use local flower farms, I recycle & compost.

I plant a tree for every flower preservation order & last year I offset more than 14 & a half tonnes of carbon working with Ecologi, who fund and support environmental projects across the world.  To date I have planted over 500 trees & supported 29 different environmental projects around the world.

You can see how many trees have planted & the projects I've have helped to support here;

Sometimes in my art I use animal bones or butterflies.  Any animals I use have died of natural causes, I do not harm or kill any animals. I use bones that I've found in the countryside & I source the butterflies & insects from an ethical, sustainable long standing supplier who works closely with conservation & also supplies museums & universities world wide.
